Are you positioned to be an overnight success?

When I look around at the people in my network, I am impressed! From getting five and six figure speaking contracts to signing major book deals and appearing on national television shows; I see them making major moves. For some, these moves seemed to happen overnight. However, I have followed most of them for close to ten years and have seen the growth of their brands leading to this level of success.

The illusion of the overnight success story has caused many people with various goals to feel discouraged when they don’t see results as quickly as they think they should. After one or two months of posting and promoting, it can be tempting to think that no one is paying attention. Building your community, audience, and relationships take time and requires a strategy. You must be intentional about your ask - when, where, and to whom - and what you expect in return. To have longevity in any industry, your business/brand must have a solid foundation.
